"The 2024 Letters To Europe comes from the Larner and Bien Nacido vineyards and offers lively red fruits, smoky, meaty nuances, gunpowder, blood orange, and a wonderful floral character in its aromatics. Also 65% Syrah and 35% Grenache and raised 21 months in 35% new French oak, it's medium-bodied on the palate, with a juicy, elegant mouthfeel, finely polished tannins, and a great finish. It has plenty of acidity, yet the balance here is spot on. It's beautiful today yet will benefit from 2-3 years in the cellar and should see its 15th birthday in fine form." — 96pts, Jeb Dunnuck
